Join Our Team at Fausto – Line Cook Wanted Fausto, a neighborhood restaurant and wine destination on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is seeking a full-timeWood Ovencook. Our market-driven menu features elevated yet approachable cuisine, focusing on local and seasonal ingredients, with many dishes prepared in our signature wood-burning oven. About the Role: We are looking for a passionate, goal-oriented, and value-driven individual to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will help bring our elevated approach to food and hospitality to life. Key responsibilities include preparing vegetables, fish, and meat in our wood-burning oven. Key Responsibilities: Perform opening and closing duties according to our standards, including setting up and closing down the station, especially the wood-burning oven. Prep items for daily service and the weekly prep schedule, with a focus on dishes cooked in the wood-burning oven. Ensure the highest quality for all menu items, particularly those prepared in the wood-burning oven. Carry out additional job-related tasks as outlined by management. Schedule includes weekends Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in casual or fine dining. Experience and comfort working with a wood-burning oven. Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations. Positive attitude towards work and team collaboration. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for over 6 hours. Why Join Us?
